Man loading equipment seriously hurt in truck mishap

Sep. 16—A man trying to load a flatbed trailer was seriously hurt Saturday afternoon in South Fayette.

Allegheny County Police reported that the flatbed trailer was being hauled by a tractor-trailer rig on Stonegate Drive around 1 p.m.

County police said the victim was loading the flatbed trailer when the truck tractor moved backwards, striking the victim.

The unidentified victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
