Man killed in Northwest DC hit-and-run

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Northwest D.C. on Saturday night.

MPD said a man was found lying between cars in the roadway in the 3100 block of Georgia Avenue at 11:16 p.m.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Person threatens American University student

Investigators said they believe a car drove over the man and fled the scene without stopping.
