Man killed in motorcycle crash in Grain Valley, Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Grain Valley man is now dead after a fatal motorcycle crash in Grain Valley Sunday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Around 8:15 p.m. Sunday, Corbin Wyss, 25, was driving on West Park Road, near Northeast Colbern Road, when he hit a guard rail with his motorcycle, causing him to be thrown from it.

Wyss was helped by responders after the crash, but they were not able to save him. He was pronounced dead at 8:43 p.m.

The crash report said the family of Wyss has been notified.

According to MSHP, this is “fatal crash #20 and fatality #20” of 2024 for Troop A — — a division of MSHP located at the intersection of 50 Highway and Highway 291 in Lee’s Summit, MO.
