Man killed in Canton arson identified

CANTON, Ohio (WJW) – The Canton Fire Department has released the identity of the victim of an arson earlier this week.

Frank Campbell, 66, was killed when a home went up in flames early Wednesday morning, May 1, at 200 Lincoln Ave.

According to investigators, “video captured by witnesses show multiple persons of interest fleeing the scene at the time of the fire.”

They also so there was evidence the fire was intentionally set.

The victim’s body was found behind the front door of the home.

A reward of $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
