Man killed, another injured in possible drive-by shooting in the Bronx: NYPD

EAST BRONX, The Bronx (PIX11) – A possible drive-by shooting has left a man dead and another man injured in the Bronx late Sunday, according to the NYPD.

It happened along Ely Avenue in East Bronx around 10:50 p.m. A 29-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his head and a 40-year-old man had a gunshot wound to his left leg, according to authorities.

Both men were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. The 29-year-old man was pronounced dead, police said.

Several suspects fled the scene in a gray Honda Accord, according to authorities.
