Man injured after shooting at Lufkin intersection

LUFKIN, Texas (KETK) – A man was shot Tuesday night in Lufkin while reportedly sitting at a Lufkin intersection.

Officials said the shooting happened around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Lotus Lane and Hill Street where a man reported he was shot while riding in the back passenger seat of a car that was shot at by another car at the intersection.

He was flown to an out-of-town hospital for treatment, and as of late Tuesday night, was reported to be in stable condition.
