Man injured in shooting at Circle K in Augusta
A man is in the hospital after being shot Sunday at the Circle K on Peach Orchard Road.
At about 5:15 p.m. Sunday, Richmond County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the Circle K at 3603 Peach Orchard Rd. for a shooting, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
A man, who has not been identified, was shot at least once and was found at a local hospital where he is being treated for his injuries, according to the release.
"The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available," according to the sheriff's office.
