Man dies following shooting in Portsmouth Sunday night

PORTSMOUTH, Va.(WAVY)– A man is dead following a Sunday night shooting in Portsmouth.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue at 10:38 p.m. for a shooting that involved a car crash.

When officers arrived on scene, they found 28-year-old Zavier Tyrone Allen Johnson III suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Johnson was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The Portsmouth Police Department’s Major Crime Unit is still investigating this incident.

The concept is this: losslessly compress data just before it enters RAM, and decompress it afterwards, effectively widening the memory channel by 50% or more just by adding one small piece to the chip.

On the heels of raising $102 million earlier this year, Bugcrowd is making good on its promise to use some of that funding to make acquisitions to strengthen its security chops. The company -- which crowdsources skills from more than half a million hackers to find and fix security vulnerabilities and other operational loopholes in companies’ networks and apps -- has acquired Informer, a specialist in assessing and maintaining attack surface management (ASM).
