Man indicted for murder in Dayton deadly stabbing
Oct. 24—A man indicted Tuesday is accused of stabbing a man to death last month in Dayton.
Larry Hall, 35, is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court for two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault.
He is accused of fatally stabbing 32-year-old Issaiah Hudson with a knife on Sept. 22 in the 1900 block of South Gettysburg Avenue, according to an affidavit filed in Dayton Municipal Court.
Dayton police Lt. Steven Bauer said officers were dispatched around 5:30 p.m. Sept. 23 for a possible deceased person. When police arrived they found a man later identified as Hudson.
A 911 caller reported he found a body that appeared to be badly beaten across from a bus stop, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch records.
Further investigation, including DNA evidence and surveillance video, identified Hall as the assailant, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office.
Following the stabbing, Hall took a Greyhound bus to Indiana, where he was arrested, prosecutors said.
He was booked Oct. 19 into the Montgomery County Jail, where he is held on $1 million bail.
