Man hospitalized after shooting on Peoria Street, police investigating

DENVER (KDVR) — The Aurora Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Sunday afternoon.

The shooting happened in the 3000 block of North Peoria Street and was reported to police at 2:15 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital and his condition is unknown.

Police do not have suspect information as of 4 p.m., and APD said a motive or relationship between the suspect and victim is unknown.
