Man holds up 3 different 7-Elevens in Queens in one hour, steals $1,900: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man allegedly held up three different 7-Elevens in Queens in the span of a little over an hour early Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.

The spree happened between 2:56 a.m. and 4:03 a.m., police said.

The suspect entered the first 7-Eleven, located at 112-11 Liberty Ave., and displayed a gun to an employee, according to authorities. He escaped with $400 in cash, police said.

The second armed robbery happened around 3:44 a.m. at 159-35 Cross Bay Blvd. The suspect got away with $1,500, according to authorities.

The third armed robbery took place at 154-18 Rockaway Blvd. The employee opened the register after the suspect displayed a gun, but he left without taking any money, police said.

Authorities described the man as around 5’8″. He was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, black jacket, grey sweatpants, black baseball cap and a surgical mask.
