Man hit, killed by car in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department said a man was killed after being hit by a car Friday evening.

Police said that at about 8:45 p.m., they responded near the intersection of Branch Ave. and Suitland Parkway for the report of a pedestrian collision.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who died at the scene.

The driver did not stay at the scene.
