Man Groped Woman At Trumbull Mall: PD

The woman was startled, but managed to get a picture of the alleged perpetrator.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested after he groped a woman at the Trumbull mall Nov 24, according to police.

A female shopper felt a man walk close behind her and grab her buttocks, said Capt. Keith Golding, police spokesman. She was startled, but managed to take a picture of the man with her phone.

She contacted security who contacted police. Officers tracked Javier Campos, 32, down in another part of the mall. He was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault, breach of peace and interfering with police after he refused to cooperate. He was held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
