Updated: Man found shot, killed in an SUV in Macon identified, sheriff’s office says

A man was found dead in a vehicle in Macon Wednesday, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s office.

Reports say the man was found unresponsive in a blue Chevrolet Blazer in the backyard of a residence on Winston Drive.

Upon arrival, deputies say they found a man identified as Nathaniel Leshawn Fuller, 42, unresponsive from gunshot wounds inside the vehicle.

Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson pronounced Fuller dead on scene.

The circumstances surrounding the incident were still under investigation Wednesday. More information was expected to be released as it became available.
