Man found shot in the head in Summit Township

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)–The Jackson County Office of The Sheriff reported a 43-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the head on Sunday around 1:50 a.m.

Deputies investigated a noise complaint in the 100 block of Lincoln Court in Summit Township where officials say the shooting happened.

The man was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and was released.

Officials say no suspects have been identified at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
