Man found shot in the head Monday night, Fairfield PD investigating

(KRON) — The Fairfield Police Department is investigating a shooting Monday that left a man with life-threatening injuries. Fairfield PD officers responded to a report of a driver passed out in a vehicle on the 1100 block of Courtland Court around 11:30 p.m.

1 dead after fiery car crash in Fremont

At the scene, officers found a 22-year-old Fairfield man with a gunshot wound to his head. Paramedics were called and the driver was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains in critical condition, according to police.

Fairfield PD detectives from the Investigations Division responded and are investigating the shooting. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Fairfield PD.
