Man found shot to death outside Anaheim apartment

Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death Wednesday outside an Anaheim apartment.

The victim was identified as Marcy Aguilar, 49, according to the Anaheim Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 200 block of East Wakefield Avenue around 3:17 a.m.

At the scene, police found the victim collapsed on the front porch of an apartment with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

No suspects were found at the scene and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear.
