Man found shot to death in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Police in Harrisburg have launched a homicide investigation after a man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

According to the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, officers responded to the area of Evergreen and Thompson Streets for a report of shots fired at around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said when they arrived on the scene, they found the man’s body. His name has not been released.
