Man found shot to death in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Police in Harrisburg have launched a homicide investigation after a man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

According to the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, officers responded to the area of Evergreen and Thompson Streets for a report of shots fired at around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said when they arrived on the scene, they found the man’s body. His name has not been released.

Police said this is an active investigation. Anyone with information is being asked to contact Harrisburg Police at 717-558-6900.
