NEW YORK (PIX11) — A man was found guilty of sexually assaulting a minor and raping a woman on Randall’s Island in 2019, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced on Wednesday.

Terence Banks, 57, was convicted of four counts of predatory sexual assault, two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Banks sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl who was skateboarding on July 27, 2019 and raped a 47-year-old woman near Randall Island’s beach less than a month later on Aug. 22, according to court documents.

The NYPD’s Manhattan Special Victims Squad arrested Banks on Oct. 1, 2019.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 19, 2024.
