Man found dead after fire rages through La Cañada Flintridge home

One man was found dead and two other people were hospitalized after flames tore through a home in La Cañada Flintridge Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported just before 4 a.m. in the 2000 block of Rancho Cañada Road.

When firefighters arrived on scene they saw smoke and fire coming from the home, a Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesperson said.

Aerial video from Sky 5 showed the roof of the home had been burned during the fire, which was doused in about 20 minutes.

Fire crews located an adult male inside the home who was pronounced dead at the scene.

No information about the man’s identity has been released.

Two other victims were transported to a local hospital.

The transported victims were described as a female and a 30-year-old man. There was no immediate word on their conditions.

Sky 5 showed officials still investigating the fatal incident as of 7:30 a.m.

No information has been released about a possible cause of the fire.
