Man Drives Through Camp Fire Flames in Northern California

Residents of Concow, California, were asked to evacuate as the Camp Fire that erupted Thursday morning in Northern California. Colton Percifield captured the video while driving on Windermere Lane on November 8.

Evacuations were also directed for all of Paradise, which is home to nearly 27,000 residents, and nearby Pulga due to the Camp Fire, according to news reports.

The fire started at about 6:30am Thursday morning and reached 5,000 acres in three hours, fueled by high winds. By late this afternoon, the fire had topped 18,000 acres. Credit: Colton Percifield via Storyful
