Man dies after motorcycle crash in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Fairfax County Police Department said it is investigating a Sunday night fatal crash involving a motorcycle in Bailey’s Crossroads.

Police said that at about 11:10 p.m., they responded to the intersection of Leesburg Pike and Glen Carlyn Drive for a crash involving a motorcycle and a car.

Woman shot in Prince George’s County

Officials said the driver of the car was trying to make a left turn when he was hit on the passenger side by the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital and died there.

He was identified as 19-year-old Alejandro Portillo of Arlington.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and was uninjured.
