Man dies after hit-and-run, HPD looking for driver

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A man has died after a hit-and-run on Memorial Parkway Monday, according to the Huntsville Police Department.

Police say that around 1:30 a.m. on April 15, Marquez Williams was hit by a vehicle just north of Mastin Lake Road. He was trying to cross Memorial Parkway on foot. The vehicle did not stop.

William was taken to Huntsville Hospital where HPD says he later died from his injuries.

Investigators are actively utilizing all of their resources to locate the driver from Monday’s hit-and-run.
