Man dies from burn injuries after Schuylkill County fire

MINERSVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man has died from his injuries sustained in a Schuylkill County house fire.

The Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio reported that 77-year-old Mario Ramirez of Minersville died Sunday due to injury complications.

Buglio stated Ramirez had 34.5% total body surface area burns he sustained during a house fire on April 14 in the 600 block of N. 2nd Street in Minersville.

Six homes were damaged by the flames with two considered a total loss, leaving 20 displaced, and three others injured.
