Man dies from 2012 Harrisburg shooting, police begin homicide investigation

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)– A man who was shot in Harrisburg back in 2012 has died and police say there is now a homicide investigation underway.

Harrisburg Bureau of Police says that Tyrone McLemore passed away from the injuries he sustained from the shooting on Aug. 4, 2012.

Police stated they were notified that McLemore passed away on March 21. An autopsy was performed and showed his cause of death was due to the shooting.

Dauphin County man charged with sexually assaulting multiple children

It was just before 2 a.m. when police were called to the 400 block of South 14th Street for a shots fired report. McLemore was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment for gunshot wounds.

Police could not find any suspects in the 2012 shooting.
