Man dead after Parkway Village shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting in Parkway Village Thursday afternoon, Memphis Police say.

Officers responded to the shooting in the 3500 block of Wingood Circle at 4:43 p.m.

Police say a man was located on the scene with an apparent gunshot wound and transported to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to Memphis Police, the suspect and victim know each other.
