Man charged after triple stabbing in Mississauga

A man is facing multiple charges including attempted murder in connection with a triple stabbing in Mississauga Friday, Peel police said.

Officers were called to Wolfedale Road and Forestwood Drive around 12:48 a.m. on Friday.

Three people were taken to hospital, including a woman who is in serious but stable condition, police said. A man and a girl under the age of 18 were also stabbed but have both been released from the hospital. Police did not release their ages.

A man, 43, returned to the scene after fleeing and was arrested by police, they said. He has been charged with three counts of attempted murder, three counts of aggravated assault, one count of assault with a weapon and one count of breach of probation.

Investigators said the stabbings were a domestic incident.
