Man charged with sexual assault of a child in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A man is charged in Eau Claire County with sexual assault of a child. 36-year-old Ray Jackson is facing multiple charges including 2nd-degree sexual assault of a child, child enticement, and kidnapping.

Monday (5/20/24), Eau Claire Police received a report that a man was attempting to coax a girl into a porta-potty near the Forest Street Community Gardens. The criminal complaint says Jackson grabbed the girl by the wrist and led her into the porta-potty. He used his body to block the door so she could not get out. Jackson is suspected to have sexually assaulted her.
