Man charged in murder of girlfriend at laundromat in Camp Springs

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Police said a man who stabbed his girlfriend to death on Tuesday stabbed himself after he attacked her.

The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said John Marin Morales, 42, of Oxon Hill, Md. is charged with the murder of Yesenia Jaramillo Sosa, 39.

The stabbing took place at a laundromat, located in the 4900 block of Allentown Rd. in Camp Springs, Md., around 12:30 p.m.

PGPD said officers found Jaramillo Sosa stabbed inside the business where she worked. She died there.

Marin Morales went to the hospital for treatment of his injuries, which weren’t considered life-threatening.
