Man arrested after traffic stop leads to drugs being found: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man was arrested after officers found drugs in the car he was driving, according to the Mobile Police Department.

49-year-old Anthony Ryan Threadgill of Mobile was arrested Wednesday night.

An MPD release said officers were in the area of Clearmont Street and Mohawk Street around 8:30 p.m. when they reportedly pulled a vehicle over for a traffic violation.

Officers found multiple drugs inside the car, according to the release.

Threadgill was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is set to appear in court for a bond hearing on Friday.
