Man arrested on Rowan County child sex offense at relative’s house: Sheriff

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man accused of a statutory sex offense involving a minor at a relative’s house has been arrested, the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said.

An investigation was launched in March regarding Andrew Garrison, 38, of East Bend. Detectives stated the incidents occurred at a relative’s home in Rowan County, and Garrison’s home in Yadkin County.

Garrison was arrested a week ago and faces charges including indecent liberties with a child and statutory sex offense.

He is being held on a $250,000 secured bond at the Yadkin Detention Center.
