According to Marshall PD, Jarvis Gill, 27 of Wichita, was arrested in Fort Worth and booked into the Harrison County Jail on March 26.

In August 2023, five people were arrested in the case: two minors for engaging in organized criminal activity for robbery, and three adults who authorities said “stopped to observe and photograph the subject lying in the street but failed to report his presence to police.”

The three adults were arrested for failure to report human remains, and officials said a warrant was issued for Gill but he had left the area before he was later arrested in Fort Worth.

His bond was set at $500,000.
