Man arrested for loaded gun, alleged identity theft in Martinez

(BCN) — Martinez police arrested a man earlier this week for allegedly possessing a loaded firearm and identity theft paraphernalia.

Officers on Tuesday pulled over a certain 31-year-old Mickey Ringer in the 3500 block of Pacheco Avenue. During the stop, police found the loaded handgun and items used to commit identity theft in the vehicle.

Ringer, a resident of Sonora in Tuolumne County, was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and other associated offenses. He was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility and was still being held Wednesday without bail for parole violation.
