At around 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, police began getting phone calls regarding Gibson pointing a firearm at vehicles while driving “very slowly.” One of the people reporting told 911 that Gibson pointed the gun at him through the passenger window, and he had to duck down while driving away from the area.

Another witness said she was driving behind Gibson shortly before 11 a.m. when he said something that she could not hear before pointing the gun at her through the rear windshield.

Shortly after noon, officers were able to locate Gibson’s vehicle traveling east on Sahara Avenue. Police attempted a vehicle stop on the vehicle, but it continued traveling and turned onto Las Vegas Boulevard.

Police were able to conduct a PIT maneuver on the vehicle and surround it. Police then took Gibson into custody. He is being held at the Clark County Detention Center on a $10,000 bail.

According to court documents, the case was sent to District Court to determine his competency. A court date was set for May 15. Court records also show that Gibson claimed his “true name” was Brad Night Wolf.
