Man arrested for Hybla Valley gun store burglary

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said it arrested a man in connection with a gun store burglary that took place in Hybla Valley Thursday.

FCPD said members of the Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD) arrested Oscar Morales Toro, 22, at the New Carrollton Metro Station in Maryland and that Morales Toro had one of the stolen guns on him at the time.

Police said officers responded to H&F Arms, located at 7524 Richmond Hwy., for the burglary at 2 a.m. Thursday. FCPD said security footage showed two people entering through the front door of the business. The people took six guns and two air soft pistols, investigators said.

Police said the charges against Morales Toro, were Burglary, Destruction of Property, Grand Larceny of a Firearm (6 counts). As of Friday, he awaiting extradition back to Fairfax County.
