Man arrested after early morning shooting in Lebanon

LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was arrested after an early morning shooting in Lebanon.

The Lebanon Police Department said at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, officers were sent to the area of Legends Drive to investigate reports of multiple shots being fired.

When officers arrived, they found one person who had been shot in the foot in the parking lot of Legends Sports Grill. While officers treated the victim, witnesses provided them with a description of the suspect vehicle and its direction of travel.

Police said officers started searching the area and found a vehicle matching the description on Cainsville Road at Railroad Drive. The driver, identified as 35-year-old Tristan Cook, was found with multiple guns and was arrested without incident.

Cook is facing several charges, including multiple counts of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

The victim, meanwhile, was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to investigators.
