At 4:35 a.m. on April 26, the RCPD responded to a call from a female victim in the northeast part of Manhattan. Dispatchers got a text shortly later from the victim saying she was being held inside an apartment by a 26-year-old with a gun, according to the RCPD.

The suspect was arrested on charges of:

  • aggravated kidnapping x3

  • aggravated assault x2

  • criminal threat

  • interference with an LEO, aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim, domestic battery
