Man accussed of stealing Lancaster hotel master key, burglarizing rooms

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Lancaster City Police say a man stole a hotel’s master key and burglarized multiple guest rooms on Tuesday night.

Police say Lawrence Bracy of Delaware was able to obtain the key and entered multiple rooms and areas at a Holiday Inn.

Guests reported missing cash, medication, clothing, and other items from their rooms.

Hotel staff were able to locate Bracy on the hotel’s 10th floor and notified police. After a brief foot chase with police, Bracy was taken into custody. Officers were able to locate the master key and some of the items reported missing within Bracy’s belongings.

Bracy is facing charges including burglary, forgery, evading arrest, and receiving stolen property. Lancaster City Police say Bracy is wanted for burglary/theft charges in Delaware and Georgia.
