Man accused of using racial slur, harassing Safeway security guard

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Authorities arrested a 34-year-old man at a grocery store Thursday morning after he harassed a security guard, officials say.

According to Portland police, Christopher Casey said a racial slur before he physically harassed the guard at the Safeway on Southwest 10th Avenue and Columbia Street.

Case of human plague confirmed in Deschutes County

Casey faces one charge of bias crime and a misdemeanor charge of fentanyl possession.
