Man accused of putting duffle bag of drugs into dumpster, Marlboro Co. deputies say

MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A man was arrested Tuesday after placing a duffle bag of drugs into dumpster behind a pit stop in Marlboro County after a crash, deputies said.

Troy Henry was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of ecstasy, deputies said.

On May 14, Marlboro County deputies were dispatched to the scene of a collision per the request of highway patrol.

When deputies arrived, they were informed that a man reportedly put a duffel bag into a dumpster at the back of Parker’s Pit Stop.

Deputies said they searched the area and found a duffel bag containing two large bags and four individual bags of what is believed to be marijuana and a bag of what is believed to be ecstasy.

Video surveillance was reviewed and deputies spoke with witnesses. From video survelliance to the witnesses, it was confirmed that Henry, placed the duffel bag in the dumpster.

Henry was arrested and transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center where he will await a bond hearing, deputies said.
