Man accused of multiple threats to kill Pagedale officers
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Authorities have arrested a man who allegedly made multiple threats to kill officers with the Pagedale Police Department.
Prosecutors have charged Frank Banks with two counts of making a terrorist threat and one count of misusing 911 amid the investigation. A warrant was served for his arrest on Wednesday.
According to court documents, two instances of threats date back to May 10.
Investigators say Banks was issued various citations during a traffic stop that evening. Hours later, police responded to a report of trespassing at a north St. Louis County liquor store, once again leading to an encounter with Banks.

Court documents state that Banks made threats to kill officers and their family members, though it appears he wasn’t arrested for those threats.
The following day, Banks reportedly called the Pagedale Police Department multiple times, making threats over the phone that he would “come shoot up the place,” per court documents. Multiple employees with the department were on duty and inside the police headquarters at the time of the threat.
Banks is now behind bars in St. Louis County on a $50,000 cash-only bond. He has a bond reduction hearing scheduled for May 22 and preliminary hearing scheduled for June 5, per Missouri court records.
