Man accused of following Cleveland teen home, exposing himself: Police

CLEVELAND (WJW) — A man faces charges after investigators said he followed a teenage girl home from a Cleveland ice cream shop and exposed himself to her on Saturday.

According an affidavit obtained by the FOX 8 I-Team, a 17-year-old girl was eating ice cream at West 41st Street and Bridge Avenue when the suspect, identified as 45-year-old Charles Stegman Jr., allegedly called the teen “hot” and asked if she wanted to hang out sometime.

Stegman is accused of following the teen home and exposing himself to her while she was sitting on her front porch, the complaint says.

The Cleveland Division of Police arrested Stegman on public indecency charges, according to the affidavit.

The case remains under investigation at this time.
