Man, 59, stabbed on Harlem train platform: NYPD

A 59-year-old straphanger was stabbed in the back during a clash at a Harlem train station Thursday, police said.

The victim was waiting for a train at the 125th St. station at St. Nicholas Ave. around 1:10 p.m. when he got into an argument with another man on the train platform.

The two men didn’t know each other before the argument, police said.

As the two began to fight, the other man pulled a knife and stabbed him in the upper back.

EMS rushed the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where he was expected to survive.

The stabber, who was wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket and blue tinted glasses, ran off. No arrests have been made.

Hours later, a man was critically injured on a Bronx train when an attacker randomly stabbed him from behind multiple times.
