Mama June reveals the secret to keeping off the weight after 300-lb. weight loss

Mama June revealed how she's been able to keep off the weight after her 300-pound weight loss, and it's definitely not what we expected.

The reality TV star told People that one of the secrets to her sustained weight loss is her habit of sleeping in until 1 p.m., which enables her to routinely skip breakfast.

In addition to her unorthodox sleeping habits, Mama June -- who said that "the most I've gained back is five pounds" -- attributed her rockin' bod to controlling how much she eats.

"It's all about portion control for me," the 38-year-old said of maintaining her size 4. "It's not easy to eat like you're 'supposed to' and hit the gym all the time, but I'm just trying to maintain it the best I can."

She also noted that she's "more of a snacker" when it comes to her eating habits, noting that she loves to eat grapes and cheese. For dinner, she'll opt for baked chicken and quinoa or baked pork chops, corn and beans.

As for her go-to cheat food?

"If I'm craving something sweet, Little Debbie jelly cakes are my favorite cheat snack," she admitted.

Mama June documented her weight loss journey on WE tv's "From Not to Hot" last year. The show returns for a second season on January 12.
