MAFS's Lucinda Light reveals fashion secrets, praises "world-class" designer
Married at First Sight Australia star Lucinda Light has praised her "world-class" designer as she revealed her fashion secrets.
The star appeared in the latest season of the reality show as she coupled up with Timothy Smith during the experiment, though the pair opted to break up before the final decision.
Lucinda's calm and compassionate demeanour made her a fan favourite throughout her stint, but viewers also took great joy in her fashion choices, and she has now thanked the designer of her wedding dress in a post on Instagram.

"I said to Simone Ellis, 'I'd love you to be my designer for MAFS, let your imagination run wild,' and boy, did she do just that!" began Lucinda. "Simone took complete control over designing my wedding dress from start to finish (with no input from me) using the finest French lace and crafting a headpiece from recycled materials like cable ties and leftover lace."
"It was mind blowing to watch her process and to wear her exquisite creations. Not only did Simone create my wedding dress, but all my cocktail attire on the show either came from her collection or was custom-made by her," she continued.
"I feel incredibly blessed to have aligned with Simone and want to take a moment to honour this magnificent woman🫶. Byron local and world-class seamstress, Simone was a true gift and godsend to me."
"She became much more than just my designer; she became a mentor and a friend, infusing each piece with something special & sending me off with the courage to wear these extraordinary pieces. Thank you so much my darling friend and collaborator, you're so talented 🙏"

Lucinda concluded by describing Simone as a "Goddess" and a "world-class wizard of bespoke culture and unique design", adding that she was dedicated to "empowering women" and "allowing the full expression of their beauty to shine through."
Though Lucinda's time on MAFS came to an end, she has still maintained contact with some of her fellow co-stars, forming a friendship with Andrea 'Andie' Thompson as well as still keeping in touch with Timothy.
