Madison County Sheriff’s Office says missing woman found

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says a missing woman last seen in Meridianville has been found.

The sheriff’s office originally said detectives were asking for help finding 46-year-old Angela Lynn Hewitt who was reported missing by her family. An office spokesperson told News 19 Friday evening that she had contacted her family and was no longer considered missing.

According to authorities, Hewitt was last seen leaving the Greenlawn subdivision in Meridianville on April 13. Hewitt was believed to be driving a 2003 Honda Accord.
