A fire broke out at the ELMASH electromechanical plant, with an estimated area of 3000 square meters, the cause of which is still under investigation, as reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel on April 22.

Videos are circulating on social media showing the fire that engulfed the plant.

It is noted that Voronezh Electromechanical Plant produces gearboxes, gear motors, block brakes, industrial fans, and also specializes in supply of electric motors.

According to Baza Telegram channel, Enikmash-V machine-building plant is on fire in Voronezh, they reported that 3 people were found dead, two were injured.

At the same time, Mash channel claims that fire is only 100 square meters in size, and 3000 square meters is actually area of the workshop where fire occurred. Telegram channel claims that fire occurred in a warehouse.

Russian Emergencies Ministry said that two people were injured.

1200-square-meter industrial building caught fire in Moscow Oblast, Orekhovo-Zuyevo on April 22.
