Here's what the soon-to-be owners of Cheswick power plant plan to do with the property after it closes

When the Cheswick Generating Station stops operating at the end of March, Allegheny County's final coal-fired power plant will be getting a new owner that will transform the facility and its three sites in and around Springdale and Cheswick. Charah (NYSE: CHRA) announced Thursday it would acquire Cheswick, along with a landfill and wastewater treatment facilities on separate parcels, from utility GenOn after the plant closes for good March 31.
