Comcast: Universal Orlando's Epic Universe theme park to open in 2025

Universal Orlando Resort's newest theme park will be ready for tourists in roughly 1,200 days. Philadelphia-based cable giant Comcast Corp., Universal's parent company, announced during its fourth-quarter earnings call on Jan. 27 that Universal Orlando's Epic Universe theme park will be open by summer 2025. This is the first clear timeframe executives have publicly given on the future theme park on hundreds of acres of land off Universal Boulevard in the International Drive area.
