Nasdaq Commands Gains; Why These Dow Stocks Are Near A Buy Point
The Nasdaq kept an iron-like grip on the daily battle for outperformance in the current stock market rally. Boosted in big part by solid rebounds among the FAANG megacaps, the composite index's 0.6% gain at around 1:30 p.m. ET towered over a practically flat performance for the S&P 500. The Dow Jones Industrial Average's loss deepened some, from 0.2% in the early afternoon on Wall Street to 0.5% with roughly 90 minutes left in the regular session.
